Bynum signed! 4 years - $58 Million

Good gamble? or knee-jerk reaction after two lop-sided wins over sub-par teams?

Am I the only one that thought Bynum looked lost in the last two games? Always pointing his finger in the air for a lob on half the offensive sets, he looked like he was thanking God every other play.

I hope he settles down now after this contract was signed. He just looked confused, hopefully time will fix that.

Well, to that point, he looks like he's a bit of a diva right now, crying to the refs for calls, etc..

but i think the lakers are just glad that physically he looks okay...and are probably betting he'll only get better...

right now, who would u rather have, Oden or Bynum?

i think he's a bit off offensively right now, but all they really need from him this year is to rebound, block shots, and basically just be 7 foot tall which I think he does a pretty good job at.

he worked on his jump shot this summer but most of his points will probably come on lobs and putbacks this season.

oh and i think i'd rather have bynum. oden already has a scary injury history and is quickly earning the injury prone label. but then again, maybe he's not injury prone and it's just that he really is 40 years old

The only thing about Bynum I don't like- once you pass the ball into him while he's down low in the block, he's going to shoot it 80% of the time no matter how covered he is. I think its mostly him trying to prove he has skill and that he has had limited play time in his career.

Its less annoying though than Kobe's infinite-headfakes-of-doom, and Gasol's 13 second jab-step-of-doom into a hookshot.

not my money...pay him whatever, as long as we win

by the way, who DOESN'T cry on the lakers? maybe ariza and sun yue...that's about it
